I miss my laptop
Yes you heard right I miss it. Meaning I no longer have it. Not only do I not have it I do not have it backed up and so I lost all my pictures. My 21 month old thought it would like some coffee to help just start its morning of all days on my birthday. So now my Apple MacBook Pro is gone. Maybe one day I will get another one.
Today I'm going to go get free shampoo
yet another find from The Krazy Coupon Lady. At CVS you can print off a coupon for a free bottle of shampoo. Hope you enjoy the find.

I just got $13.95 physican's formula bronzed for $1.82!
So I was turned on to the chance to free makeup by The Krazy Coupon Lady. Well I had to go see it myself. So I go into Rite Aid after printing off the $4 coupon and look for the sale. I'll be honest I have not been to a Rite Aid before. So after looking for a good bit I go and get a ad and find that there are certain things that are on sale for 40% off. Well bronser was one of them. There was one for 13.95$ on sale for 8.35$. On the bronser there was a coupon for 3$ off. I went and asked a associate if they stacked coupons and she said yes. So when it was all said and done (after I signed up for a Rite Aid card) I got some makeup for 1.82$.
Today we are going to start back
to our homeschooling routine. I think its going to be a little hard with the break but we will see. We have been still reading and going to story times here and there. D has done teaching apps on the iPad but I want to get back in the books. I will post things we do that are different, fun, or really working for them.

How to organize your coupons
So there are many ways to do your coupons. I used to be one of those that had a binder full of baseball card holders and would clip them all put them in their own holder in the order of the isle and expiration date, and have to change it every week. This is very time consuming though many say it is the best way. I have recently been reading about other ways because with four kids, doctors apts, church, and so on I am to busy to spend the time it takes to do this. I think I'm going to start a new way. I'm going to get page protectors (yes I still have my baseball card holders, but they will only be used here and there if at all) and every time I get a new weeks paper I'm going to get all the same coupon sheets (for instance this week was P&G but there are many pages to the P&G so I'm going to line up the pages and split them apart and have a sheet) and put them in their own page protector Right now until I figure out a better way I will use sticky notes to label them which week I got them so I know which is oldest, and then look and watch for sales and coupon match ups. Like I said before I'm still learning and with not having a lot of time I am closely watching The Krazy Coupon Lady and I might go back to also looking at the Coupon Mom to see if they say different things.

My first trip to the store with coupons
So I just went to Kroger. Remember they double coupons up to 0.60$. Well I had a coupon for Silk Almond milk for 0.75$, a coupon for 0.50$ on a box of Krave cereal, a coupon for 0.50$ on a box of Frosted Flakes, and a coupon for 1$ off of any two Quaker products.
The Silk was on sale for 2.99$, the Krave was on sale for 2.09$, the Frosted Flakes were on sale for 1.98$, and the Quaker variety pack oatmeal boxes were on sale 2/4$.
So I paid 2.24$ for almond milk, 1.09$ on Krave cereal, 0.98$ on Frosted Flakes, and 1.50$ each on two boxes of Quaker oatmeal.
So total with sales and coupons I saved right at 11$ not bad for my first time.
